Cost data

The cost data points highlighted in this report have been extracted from Turner & Townsend’s Hive platform.

Turner & Townsend has invested over £5m in structured data technology, training and capability – building a powerful suite of bespoke tools that link to a centralised platform called the Hive.

The Hive acts as our repository (or data warehouse) for our service delivery data and the host of a set of intelligent cost and planning applications that allow users to leverage data to drive insight.

The Hive is used as the platform to support the data warehousing and analytics for our Life Sciences Benchmarking Club and wider benchmarking applications.

Industry sentiment data

In March 2023, Turner & Townsend conducted an online survey of players in the life sciences sector globally. We received feedback from ten of the world’s leading life sciences companies, with 106 responses in total. The responses were split across the following regions.
